David Rodrigues began his career in construction as a rough carpenter working for two area builders while going to high school and then college. After completing his Bachelor Degree in Political Science, David began David & Goliath Builders, Inc. David works with prospective clients to design their dream homes. He also expedites, manage our crew foremen and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers. David strongly believes in building each and every project right the first time. David is committed to keeping well educated on the many different and new building materials and techniques in the industry. His philosophy is to not only build each home like it is his own home, but he also feels a home should be built to last a lifetime. Nothing is more rewarding to David than giving a satisfied customer the keys to their dream home. David is committed and involved in the building industry. He is an active member in the Metropolitan Builders Association of Greater Milwaukee (MBA) and has participated in the Parade of Homes, Spring Tour of Homes, Fall Remodelers Tour and the Home Builders Expo. David serves on many committees at the MBA. He is a member of the Board of Directors and in 2004, he was President of the association. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). In addition, he is a member of the Milwaukee NARI Home Improvement Council and is on the board at Waukesha County Technical School of Construction Trades Program.
Ann Rodrigues jointly founded David & Goliath Builders with her husband David after completing her Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication-Journalism/Public Relations. Ann's enthusiasm and excitement for home building is evident in everything she does. Ann is passionate about making the home building process fun and exciting. Ann wants all of our customers to know that building homes is not a job at David & Goliath Builders---it is what we all love to do! She enjoys the satisfaction and creativity of being involved in making each and every project develop from drawings all the way to completion. She is one of the friendly faces you meet at our model homes. She also works with clients in our selection center to help them with color and product selections. She handles all marketing, public relations, employee relations and business operations for the company. Ann is committed to staying well educated on building materials and techniques. Ann has achieved her CCP (Certified Construction Professional) from the Metropolitan Builders Association (MBA). Ann is an active member of the building industry. She serves on many committees at the MBA and has received numerous sales and marketing awards. She is currently on the Board of Directors at the MBA and the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA). She is also active in the Pewaukee Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.
Cindi Schickert graduated from University of Eau Clair with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. She brings over 13 years of experience to our office management staff, primarily she will be in charge of our accounts receivable and payable. In addition, she will coordinate all financial draws with the title companies for jobs in the David & Goliath family of building companies. Cindi is very detail oriented and enjoys working with customers and subcontractors. She also has years of experience in interior decorating, making her a perfect fit for new home building and remodeling. With the title of Office Manager, Cindi will be the support of all daily office functions.
Kevin Breslow graduated from Northcentral Technical College in Wausau with an Associate Degree in Architectural Residential Design. He brings over eight years of experience as an architectural designer in both residential and commercial construction to David & Goliath Builders' professional building team. Kevin's creativity and attention to detail are evident in all home designs. He loves to research an architectural style and implement those details into his designs. Kevin works closely with David, sale consultants and perspective clients to create new home designs and remodeling projects utilizing the three-dimensional Computer Aided Design (CAD) program. Kevin also works closely with the crew foremen in respect to material specification information and implementation of architectural details on the interior and exterior of the homes.
Larry Gretzon began his masonry career over 30 years ago. Larry specializes in brick and stonework and manages the masonry team. He prides himself in maintaining a high level of quality work and building the best block basements in the industry. Larry enjoys working with customers on their interior fireplace designs. Larry has helped David & Goliath Builders win over 10 masonry awards including best fireplace, best brick house in Southeastern Wisconsin, best masonry foundation, best overall use of masonry and best masonry craftsmanship. According to Larry, if every house we built could be complete masonry exterior, then he would be in heaven!
David Garlock began his career as a rough carpenter while attending college. Dave has over 20 years experience as a rough framing carpenter constructing custom homes and he currently runs the rough carpentry crew. Dave prides himself in running a smooth job while maintaining a high level of quality in all homes. Dave enjoys working with customers to build their dream homes. He believes that each David & Goliath Builders home or remodeling project should be built as if it were his own. Dave handles ordering and approval of all trusses and lumber for each job. He works closely with the architectural designers and lumber supplier to ensure that all trusses are manufactured per specification and all lumber delivered is top quality. Under Dave’s leadership, David & Goliath Builders has achieved numerous craftsmanship awards.
Tim Heling has been a member of the professional building team at David & Goliath Builders since the company's inception in 1985. Tim began his carpentry career working with his father, who owned his own finish carpentry business. He brings over 28 years of experience to David & Goliath Builders and prides himself in maintaining a high level of quality work. He enjoys working with each customer and works hard to finish each and every home like it was his own house. He is responsible for building and designing some the most unique woodwork features in our custom homes, including staircases, mantels and decorative columns. Under Tim's leadership David & Goliath Builders has won numerous craftsmanship awards.
