The Metropolitan Builders of Association of Greater Milwaukee executive board recently announced they elected David Rodrigues of David & Goliath Builders Inc. to serve as President-Elect of the association for the year 2003. The MBA is a non-profit association, which represents the building industry and is affiliated with the Wisconsin Builders Association and National Association of Home Builders. The association develops and offers education, benefits, establishes business ethics and industry standards, sponsors promotions for housing and housing products. On Thursday, November 21, 2002, the following officers will be installed along with Rodrigues at the MBA Installation Dinner taking place at North Hills Country Club in Menomonee Falls. Al Eckhart of Woodhaven Homes will be installed as President, Craig Rakowski of James Craig Builders will be installed as Vice President and Pete Feichtmeier of Colby Construction Co. will be installed at Secretary/Treasurer. In addition to his duties as President Elect, Rodrigues was also nominated to chair the MBA Public Relations committee for 2003. The MBA Public Relations Committee is responsible for establishing educational programs and events for the general public. These programs are geared toward people who are interested in building or remodeling. The programs will include topics such as how to find a lot, choosing a builder or remodeler, and other residential construction topics. Rodrigues will serve on the executive board for the next four years. In the year 2004 he will be installed as President of the MBA.
