(Waukesha, WI) January 26, 2004– Since 1988, the Milwaukee/NARI Home Improvement Council, the area’s leading home improvement and remodeling industry resource for more than 42 years, has sponsored and produced the Wisconsin Remodeler of the Year Awards (WRA) program. The competition allows association members to submit entries in various categories to gain recognition for projects that they have completed during the year. Entries for the remodeling awards, which are open to all association’s members, were judged on craftsmanship, compatibility with the home, innovative use of materials, enhancement of the home’s aesthetics and overall design. A panel of experts from within the industry selected the winning entries in 21 categories. Awards were present at a banquet on Friday, January 16, 2004. DG Remodeling, a division of David & Goliath Builders won the award for the best residential interior over $100,000 for their North woods themed basement remodel project. They also won three other awards for marketing under the following categories: best color ad, best direct mails piece and best colored brochure.
