Sharon Volz, New Home & Remodeling Specialist at David & Goliath Builders / DG Remodeling did an outstanding job on this kitchen remodel! So good in fact that the project has been submitted to the NARI Wisconsin Remodeling Awards.
This kitchen was designed for a couple that are hearing impaired. So it was important for the kitchen sink to be moved so that when either one of them were at the sink they would be facing their guests and easily able to carry on conversations. In the old kitchen they were looking out the window with their backs to their guests making it very hard to read lips and continue cooking efficiently. In addition, we built in a light sensor in their cabinetry so that they know when someone is at their front door from the kitchen.
