To accomplish the client’s goal of improving functionality and increasing natural light, we tore out the pantry, closet, and wall between the dining areas. The new floor plan allowed for an island, double ovens and a large pantry cabinet. We also added windows and a patio door to create a wall of light.

The owner chose finishes to reflect the two wooded acres surrounding their home. A wide plank rustic hickory floor, alder cabinets, and Copper Cream granite help to blend the outside with their new interior. Stainless steel appliances and mission style oil rubbed bronze light fixtures and hardware establish a contemporary presence amongst the rustic décor.
